World of Warcraft Classic - State of the Acolytes - September 2019

I would like to write a State of the Guild each month to summarize the awesome things we have done together as a guild and some things to look forward to and work towards. I think going into the launch we had high hopes for our guild and I honestly think we have done way better than we ever could have expected or anticipated. Just two weeks into launch we had Rauc and Rohkgash hit level 60!

For the entire month we were near the top of people getting 60 and also were able to complete the server first Horde UBRS clear. Those that were leveling up at a feverish pace worked well together and really made a name for our guild that will always be remembered on Atiesh.

Thankfully the grouping up as a guild is not something that was only taken advantage of by those that were of higher levels. I personally have grouped with so many of you along the way. Many groups have been formed, many dungeons have been run and many loots has been won across every level in our guild. The journey and social aspect is part of what makes WoW Classic so great. Everyone here will be able to look back years from now and remembers times where that one weird, silly, awesome or fun thing happened while grouping with your fellow Acolytes. I really do feel that our entire guild has a great attitude of working together, is well organized, has a selfless attitude.

I have had many people outside of our guild contact me stating they have seen that from our guild members and have commended us on that. I want to thank each and every one of you for that. You guys and girls are what make the guild tick and run each day.

The first month or two of any MMO launch is always a balance of settling in and knowing what we are working with as some people may find out WoW Classic isn't for them, some RL things come up or some other reason some one may not be able to play. We apperciate everyone being patient and willing to work together through these first couple months as things settle in for us as a guild. We are in this for the long haul and the foundation we have set already is so encouraging and exciting.

We have accomplished so much already as a guild in just the first month!
    • We have completed nine out of the ten bosses in Molten Core.
    • We have established Class Leads and Guild Crafters that have been super helpful to our members as go to's for questions, crafting, help or guidance.
    • We have organized and run so many dungeons together as guild mates.
    • We had our first DBH with some give aways.
    • We have had so many people group up and meet new people who they may have not met if they didn't join the guild.
    • We have also scheduled our first guild wide social event for ALL levels that is coming up this Saturday named, Gnomarathon!

We will always try and maintain our great balance of taking down all Raid content, dungeons and social functions/interaction of our members. I have also noticed that everyone is great at self improvement. Don't be shy about trying to get groups started within guild or joining your fellow guild members in runs to fill spots. If you ever need help with something do not ever hesitate to contact your class lead or any of the officers as we are always available to help people or get the information you may need.

Here are a few things I would like for us to shoot for as goals as a guild for October
    • Take down Ragnaros
    • Take down Onyxia
    • Schedule at least one more guild wide all levels social event

Keep up the great work, continue having fun and it is an honor to be in guild with all of you!
